The year is 2040. We meet Julia and Robert as they try to mend the lives of their family, torn apart by the Civil War of 2034. It has been several years since the peace treaty which created the Coalition of Red States, and the United Blue States of the Americas. Forty-six million are dead, major cities are reduced to rubble, and both countries remain dysfunctional.
The road from their dystopian existence runs through the reunification movement, where Robert rises to a leadership position. As Robert looks toward the future and tries to rebuild the lives of his family and his country, Julia clings to her hatred of the other side. How could she ever forgive those who bombed their home, killing their four-year-old son? Follow their family on the journey through this all too real world of the future.
